The Edge MC1 rim is an extremely light clincher aluminium rim for normal folding and wired-on tires. With an inner width of 21 mm this rim offers a perfect seating for common tires like Conti Grand Prix, Kojak oder even a ZX-Ultremo. Following current trends, the rim is prepared for running tubeless with sealant. Using a rim strip and some sealant, the tire can be driven without tube to lower rolling resistance and puncture susceptibility plus to increase comfort and grip.
Aside from the technical data, the excellent finish of the rim is apparent. The surface of the rim is slightly brushed and black anodized.
The new generation of this rim is 17% stiffer than the predecessor 2013!
