This latex tube was specially shortened to size 559/26 inches.
The use of latex tubes has a very positive effect on the behavior of the bicycle tire.
The rolling resistance is reduced and is in the range of tubeless systems. The damping of the tire is also improved.
The tire rolls much more smoothly when latex tubes are used.
The best conditions for racing.
Technical data:
Valve: SV (Sclaverand) 51 mm
Sizes: 559mm/26"
Width: 19-23/25-28/30-38/40-55 mm
Please note that latex should not be exposed to sunlight for long periods of time. Store spare tubes in opaque containers. Pure latex tubes in particular age quickly in direct sunlight and become brittle.
Check the tire pressure before setting off. Especially in summer, at higher temperatures, a latex tube lets air escape more quickly than a butyl tube of the same size.
Choose the latex tube so that it fits the width of the tire well and does not have to stretch or does not have to stretch much in the tire.
Be sure to use talcum powder when fitting so that the tube can expand evenly in the tire.
Also make sure that the rim tape is fitted carefully.
Particular attention is required, if wide tires are to be mounted with relatively narrow tubeless rims.
-A low pressure should be applied here first.
-The tire should then be kneaded a little to evenly stretch the tube in the tire.
-Now the nominal pressure can be pumped up.
-After the tire has settled into the tubeless hump, a little pressure should be released again to half. This will prevent overstretching in the area of ??the hump.
-Now the tire can be finally pumped up.
As the valve stem has no thread and therefore cannot be screwed to the rim, it is ABSOLUTELY important to ensure that the valve stem is not pressed into the rim when inflating. When inflating, you should ensure that the tube is in contact with the rim bed in the area of ??the valve by pulling slightly on the valve stem. Otherwise the tube could overstretch because the tube creeps under the adhesive point of the valve. In the worst case, this could cause the tube to burst.
The latex tubes may only be used in rims with Presta valve hole (diameter 6.5mm).
