We are breaking new ground with this Idler.

Thanks to newly designed narrow/wide tooth profiles, we can do without the previous side discs.

However, as before, this idler has an O-ring on the left and right of the teeth. This makes it the quietest idler
that we have brought to market to date.

Of course, this deflection chanidler is also hard anodized and wear-resistant. The durability of the O-rings depends heavily on the chain used.

In addition, it is designed asymmetrically. One flank is kept completely flat.
This means that two of these Idlers can be combined to form a twin idler.

The Idler can be ordered with two types of bearings.
The first variant with sealed ball bearings made of roller bearing steel is smooth-running and designed for a service life of many kilometers.
The second variant has dust-protected full ceramic bearings and is extremely smooth-running - the right choice for races and, above all, record-breaking drives.

Check the ceramic bearings at least once a year for wear or rough running. These bearings have lower load ratings and a shorter service life than ball bearings of the same design made of steel.

Installation and safety instructions

When installing, make sure there is enough space between the velomobile floor and the chain. The chain must not drag on the floor.

Place the chain correctly on the idler. The narrow chain links belong on the narrow teeth / wide chain links on the wider teeth. If the chain is not placed correctly, the idler and the chain can be damaged and permanently destroyed.

The chainidler is compatible with 10-12 speed chains.

The Idler needs to run in a little first and will become even quieter after a few trips.

Two of these idler can be combined to form a twin roller. The flat flanks of the idler must face each other. The idlers must be kept at a distance using a suitable spacer so that they do not drag against each other. '
